Reiki Master Training
There are three levels in a student’s journey to becoming a Reiki Master. Level one is the student level. Level two is the practitioner level. On the last level of Reiki training, a Reiki practitioner is to attain the Reiki Master Level attunement. There are two more refinement preparations that a person must go through in their journey to becoming a Reiki Master. These last two refinement preparations are still considered part of level three.
After passing all levels in step one, a person must move onto step two. This step is to be shown the master symbol. There are many Reiki symbols and concepts that a person, who intends to become a Reiki Master, must understand. The master symbol is one of the highest. Once attained, a person is then officially a Reiki Master.
Reiki Masters can not just start teaching students at this point. Reiki Masters have another training to go through if they want to be become Reiki teachers. Reiki Teachers are Reiki Masters who have learned the ability of passing attunements to Reiki beginners and those who want to become students. This means they can train students to become practitioners and so on.
If a person is serious in their desire to become a Reiki Master, they should first decide for themselves which path they want to take. If they only want the title of Reiki Master for the prestige or to give them a sense of achievement, Reiki Level III training will be enough. If they want to become a true Reiki Master, they will have to work towards the Master Symbol being revealed to them. If they want to become a Reiki Teacher, a person must extend their training up until they are qualified to teach the attunements to students on level one.
A person wanting to become a Reiki Master should also talk with the Reiki Master who will be doing their training. A student must be confident in their teacher and their credentials. Reiki Master training is extensive, deep and on going. A person has to be sure they will be taught what they really need to know.
