Singapore is a term used for the fourteenth century. The cultural traditions are Indian, Chinese, Malay, and some Western British. The different culutures do not consider themselves as sharing a culture; they consider themselves as whole. The comparison in the cultures is shown by a reference to a popular local dish, Rojak. The Rojak is a salad in which the different ingredients are covered by a peanut sauce, forming a distinct whole.
